Overview
Cancom Security is a listed Municipal Law Enforcement Officer (MLEO) Company and is authorized to issue parking infraction notices to vehicles not authorized to park on private property through an agreement with the property owner. The agreement includes supplying and installing proper signage, service rates, terms, additional services, hiring, default, and limitations of liability.
Tag and Tow
Cancom Security provides the proper signage for tagging and removing unauthorized vehicles in your parking lot. Any vehicle not authorized will be tagged and towed in accordance with municipal by-laws. Cancom Security, your company, or the towing company will not be liable for the vehicle owner’s negligence.
Towing Company
Cancom Security is required to indicate the towing company on all parking enforcement signs. Once a vehicle is towed, the owner can reference the sign to locate their vehicle. Cancom Security has no immediate affiliation with the towing company, nor does Cancom Security profit from the towing company. This avoids any conflict of interest and maintains Cancom Security’s MLEO license for tagging.
